A proposal for a temporary hotel room on the roof of the South Bank Centre in London. The resident undertakes a theatrical, game-like journey starting from a cage lift situated among the weave of skaters in the undercroft of the QEH, up to an alien roofscape, colonised by invasive plants and crossed by jetties which lead to the Room itself.

The 'No Vacancy' sign advertises the Room to the city, but within it, the resident experiences a vantage point of an urban insider: finding total anonymity and solitude.
