HAT Projects - architecture and planning practice

We believe in a sound research base to underpin all our work – understanding building typology, construction and materials, and best practice. We have particular research expertise in sustainable planning and regeneration, rural development and housing design. We recently completed an international survey of innovative affordable housing models for the Toronto-based social projects studio E-Y-E.

Hana Loftus has written for the leading sustainability website www.worldchanging.com as well as other journals and publications, and contributed research and case study texts to the book from GPA's directors, Design and Landscape for People. She has also run workshops and events, programming a major conference in Suffolk and workshops with GPA in Bucharest for the British Council.

Hana co-teaches a diploma unit at London Met and has been a visiting critic and lecturer at the Architectural Association and Nottingham University.
